I’d just like to say that Valerie and I had a great time sailing the Channel Islands with you and Monica last weekend! Anacapa and Santa Cruz islands were awesome, and it’s hard to believe that such pristine beauty can be found so close to our own coastline. Songline is a truly amazing boat, and it was a privilege to sail aboard her. She’s very confidence-inspiring, even for a novice sailor such as myself. The pride you take in sailing her is truly well-deserved. Not only was the trip a wonderful adventure, but I think it really opened our eyes with regards to what the cruising lifestyle is all about. Setting your own agenda and taking full responsibility for your own fate… it’s refreshing to know that one can still capture the pioneer spirit in today’s modern life! Thanks for showing us what it’s really all about. Again, I’d like to thank you for the great trip. We look forward to sailing with you and Monica and Songline again in the future! Chad Brivkalns

Dear Captain Marc, our two night excursion to Santa Cruz Island was wonderful and we are still talking about it! You were great company, and we felt very comfortable with your knowledge of sailing. Thank you for the pictures and for the memories - they are grand. We wish you good luck for the time ahead. We hope our paths will cross again one day. Kristy and “The Boys” |

I want to say thanks again to Marc and Monica for the wonderful time I had on my recent charter around the Channel Islands. After sailing 10,000 miles to New Zealand on my own yacht, this old salt was surprised to learn some new “tricks of the trade” from the crew of Songline. Sailing is an experience where you’re always learning; that’s one of the reasons I love it so much. Your J/42 presents a great vehicle for learning and I think it would be great for new/upcoming cruisers looking for offshore experience as well as for sailors with many miles under their keel who want to fine tune their sailing abilities. And you can’t beat the Channel Islands for variety and terrific sealife. Thanks again for the great experience. Next time I’m bringing the family along! Paul Reid (s/v Carmelita) |

His passion for sailing and cruising these islands is infectious. A highly recommended charter.” Michael Colin |

”Marc has a great breadth of sailing knowledge. His technical presentation of the aspects of how the boat gains power from the wind was extremely helpful. All the sea stories were great too!” Jena |
